Biovail Corporation is a specialty pharmaceutical company with a record of growth and innovation.

Today, Biovail operates research and development, intellectual-property management, manufacturing and clinical research facilities in Canada, Barbados, the United States and Puerto Rico. In Canada, the Company’s products are sold and marketed directly to specialists and targeted primary-care physicians by Biovail Pharmaceuticals Canada, the Company’s Canadian sales and marketing division. In the United States and other parts of the world, Biovail has entered into strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies with established market positions and expertise in given therapeutic areas to commercialize the products it produces to specialist and primary-care markets. The Company also distributes a number of off-patent pharmaceutical products in the U.S. In the future, when appropriate, Biovail intends to deploy a specialty sales force targeting U.S. physicians active in the treatment of specialty CNS disorders.
